About Aibel

The board in Aibel currently consists of seven members, four of whom are experienced business managers with extensive industrial experience. These four were elected in by company's owners. The other three board members were elected by the company's employees.

Jan Skogseth is President and CEO in Aibel AS. He has nine directors in the management team. Together, they are responsible for the company's areas of business, the area of resources and support functions.

Aibel AS is found in eight locations in Norway. In addition we have five international offices. The company also has its own yards in Haugesund and Thailand.

Aibel is an industrial pioneer with a history dating back more than a century. Generating annual turnover of approximately NOK 7 billion, the company is a leading supplier of services primarily to the oil and gas industry.

Although Aibel may be a relatively new corporation, the company has roots dating back more than a century. Companies such as Elektrisk Bureau, Haugesund Mekaniske Verksted, Umoe and ABB were all forerunners of Aibel as it is today.
