The industrial district of Forus is a strategic location for Aibel; close to the customers, close to Stavanger and Sandnes and only a 15-minute drive from the airport.

The Stavanger office currently has more than 800 employees and is responsible for a high number of corporate functions for the company. Aibel moved into the Forus building in 2006. It was designed to allow for expansion with dimensions to cater for 1,200 persons.

Stavanger also has the largest engineering office in Aibel, with a vast amount of advanced expertise. The Stavanger office has more than 350 engineers as permanent employees in addition to over 100 engineers on a hired-in basis.

Aibel in Stavanger has the capacity to perform the full range of services provided by the company, including engineering, maintenance, modification and construction. The office has a significant volume of assignments on the order books.

Location Manager Kjetil Sævareid is particularly proud of the working environment when describing his place of work at Aibel in Stavanger. The employees have organised an extremely active welfare club with sports, cultural activities, and social events. The office even has its own choir.
