Aibel UK was established about 30 years ago, and initially delivered engineers and expertise to the offshore shipyards in Haugesund.

In 2007 Aibel UK was awarded its first independent project.  This was a contract for maintenance and modification for BP, Statoil and Sontrach in Algeria (ISG/ IA E&P).   Aibel UK also supports and supplies engineers for the Aibel Group's projects in Norway.

Aibel UK’s strategy is to develop the company to win and execute similar new independent projects, as well as to participate in and contribute to the execution of studies, FEED and EPC either in collaboration with other Aibel offices or independently.

Aibel UK is located in Petersfield in Hampshire, about an hour drive south west of London in the direction of Portsmouth. Petersfield is a historic market town. About 30 000 people live here.

We have two modern and well equipped offices in Petersfield that can house 240 employees: Aibel House and Vision House and additional office facilities are planned. Though we are in the process of expansion, space remains for new employees in these fantastic premises, with a friendly working environment.
