Apprentices
Aibel annually accepts 50 new apprentices in Haugesund and Hammerfest. They are trained in different disciplines, such as plumbers, welders and electricians.
The Aibel apprenticeships are meant for vocational school graduates, and the training period is usually two years.
During this period the apprentices receive basic theoretical training and hands-on experience in Aibel's business areas.
Though apprentices have no guarantee of a job at the end of their training period, most find work within the Aibel Group.
Many of the apprentices have long careers as skilled employees at Aibel, both on and offshore.
