Bodil Bækken Stenberg (54)
She is currently working on a project for the CO2 Technology Centre Mongstad (TCM) involving pipe racks and other steel constructions.
She is based at the Aibel location in Oslo and has worked for the company since 1998, joining Aibel as part of the transfer from Umoe. She is married and lives in Bekkestua, Bærum.
She graduated as an engineering designer and took a further year in arts & crafts. Both Bodil and her husband love spending time in the great outdoors. Bodil's hobbies also include drawing and painting, cooking, reading and interior décor. She really enjoys working for Aibel.
Bækken Stenberg thinks it's a great feeling when your employer shows that they have confidence in you to work on a project and you can go home from work feeling that you have done something important. "My job is all about the details and it can be very time consuming when you think that everything has to be absolutely accurate, down to the last millimetre. I like sitting in front of my computer, rotating models and adjusting every little detail to make sure they concur with plans and calculations."
There is nothing better than looking at a completed structure which I contributed to.
