Daniel Furberg (32)
At the moment, Furberg is working on the GEM project (Greater Ekofisk Modification). On this project he works with instrumentation, which means that he provides much of the electronics and programming tasks for the project. Furberg finds the project exciting and enjoys the opportunities for professional growth that it offers.
Furberg has M.Sc. in automation and mechatronics from the Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg. This education includes mechanics, electronics and programming. This suits Daniel’s passion for technical challenges.
Daniel has been employed by Aibel since 2009, and is quite new to the job. At the beginning he worked on more administrative tasks, but now relishes that his job has become more technically oriented.
In his personal life Daniel is cohabiting, and the couple lives at Voll in Klepp municipality. Daniel's greatest passion is snowboarding. He is a World Class competitor, and has been given a leave of absence from his work to travel to the Alps for competitions during the winter season.
Daniel Furberg values his job and appreciates the flexibility that Aibel has shown.
"My job is getting more and more interesting as time passes. I am happy here. The work environment is great, with fantastic colleagues, nice offices, and a good atmosphere."
Aibel is a good company that gives us a lot of responsibility when we are ready for it.
