Ketil Holmgren (50)
Holmgren was born and raised in Hammerfest. He is married and has four children. Holmgren has been active for years in local and regional business development. He is also a youth football coach.
Ketil started at Aibel on November 1, 2010, having previously been the Director of Investment for Hammerfest Næringsinvest AS. Earlier in his career he headed two consultancy firms, Bedriftskompetanse AS Hammerfest and Finnmark Bedriftsrådgiving AS), and was the Executive Director of G. Hagen AS and the Financial Manager of Finnmark Fylkesrederi og Ruteselskap. Additionally he has experience from a number of board positions, and remains a board member of Helse Finnmark HF.
Holmgren graduated with a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Bodø University College in 1989. He also trained as a Transport Economist at Molde Regional College in 1985.
His new life at Aibel has been an exciting journey for Ketil.
This is a new industry for me, and it is fun to be able to participate in building a new industry in Finnmark. Over the course of a year and a half Aibel will establish an office that to the largest extent possible relies on local resources. This is going to be exciting.
