Liv Ranveig Nilsen Rundell is a Discipline Lead at Aibel. She is responsible for safety related work in connection with the Statoil M&M-Statfjord & Sleipner projects. Nilsen Rundell works at the Aibel Headquarters in Stavanger.

At the Statfjord and Sleipner projects, she is among other things responsible for the allocation of projects and staffing, as well as ensuring that the safety discipline is carried out in accordance with current requirements. Nilsen Rundell is quite new to the Discipline Lead position, having only occupied this role on the Statoil M&M contract since August 2010. She works on a variety of large and small projects within M&M.

Liv Ranveig started at Aibel in 2005. She was then a Technical Safety Engineer at Sleipner M&M. One of the projects she worked on was the well stream project for Sleipner B. As a Technical Safety Engineer the job is about ensuring that the design meets government requirements, established standards and customer-specific demands relevant to the discipline.

Nilsen Rundell is trained as a Petroleum Engineer at the University of Stavanger. She also completed a Master’s degree in Offshore Technology Safety at the same university.

In her private life, Nilsen Rundell is married and has a young daughter. She is from Oslo, but the family lives at Grødem in Randaberg. There is little free time for the busy parent of a toddler, but Liv Ranveig sometimes takes time to meet friends and family.

She loves her job, and thinks her years at Aibel have been exciting and challenging.

"I am very happy at Aibel. We have a very good work environment with nice and helpful people. Over the years that I have worked here, I have participated in a lot of exciting projects. It is a varied job with a lot of growth opportunities."

I am growing in the job, and am getting a lot of interesting and challenging assignments.
