Mari Rørtveit (32)
The members of the Main Study Group work closely with each other across disciplines. It's a relatively small group with one or two members in each discipline, and the studies are carried out separately from the framework agreements. Through the studies the group gets a design basis and a sense of the scope of the work. They then work to find the best technical solution in accordance with the design and scope of the work.
Rørtveit started as an Instrument Engineer at Aibel's Stavanger office in September 2006. In Stavanger she worked on engineering for Sleipner, before joining the Main Study Group in Bergen in May 2010. In the Study Group she first worked on the FEED study for Njord Norvestflanken, and then on the FEED study for Katla.
Mari trained as a Civil Engineer in Engineering Cybernetics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim.
Mari has a common-law husband and a 1.5 year old son. The family enjoys living at Landås in Bergen.
