Ørjan N. Meltzer (25)
He works on maintenance and all forms of instrumentation for onshore facilities. Meltzer spends a lot of his time on maintenance and repairs.
He started at Aibel as a trainee in August 2008, and got his certification as well as a permanent position in June 2010. Meltzer is a certified automatician, which is a speciality within electrical engineering.
Ørjan has a young son, and lives with his common-law wife. The family enjoys living in the centre of Hammerfest.
Ørjan thinks Aibel is an exciting place to work. As a trainee he was made to feel welcome, and learnt a lot that he now brings to his permanent position. Aibel provides for the professional growth of its employees within the company, and Ørjan both appreciates and makes use of these opportunities.
I really enjoy working here. The work environment is great, and the job is varied and exciting. My plan is to continue to grow at Aibel. I think it is really good that a company provides opportunities for professional development.
