    Today, Statoil has awarded Aibel a new M&M contract. Through the new agreement, Aibel will have continued responsibility for 12 offshore installations and four facilities, and will also be responsible for Aasta Hansteen.

    Aibel's first wind platform has left Haugesund

    Saturday night, The DolWin beta converter platform left Aibel's yard in Haugesund, Norway. Following a four-day transport stage, the platform will be installed in the DolWin wind cluster in the German North Sea.

    The contract to acquire Danish personnel company LMP was signed at Forus today. The company already works for Aibel AS.

    Statoil has awarded Aibel the contract to conduct a FEED study for the Oseberg Future Development Brownfield Topside project. The contract gives an opening for the subsequent EPCI contract.

    Today Aibel was awarded the contract for work related to planned water injection from the Heidrun platform to the Maria field, which is operated by Wintershall Norge AS. The contract is valued at NOK 860 million.

    Kjell Pedersen leaves the board of directors in Aibel after two years. Pedersen has accepted to join the board of Det norske oljeselskap and thus resigns from his position as chairman of the board in Aibel.

    Aibel wins Johan Sverdrup contract

    Today Aibel was awarded the contract for engineering, procurement and construction for the deck of the drilling platform on the Johan Sverdrup field. The contract has an estimated value of NOK 8 billion.
