Aibel respect human rights and we make sure that we are not complicit in human rights abuse.

Aibel wants to contribute to sustainable development in the countries we operate. Therefor we have established guidelines and dedicated policies to affirm our commitments to respect human rights, especially the rights of children, in all our business practices.

  • Aibel respect human rights based on international law in all countries where we operate.
  • We comply with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and we respect and recognize the International Labour Organization (ILO) Convention on abolition of child labour and minimum age for child labour.
  • We also comply with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
  • We support the UN convention on the rights of children, the principles of the UN Global Compact and the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPSHR). 
  • We will respect and support children's rights at all locations and in the entire value chain through the company's business practices.
  • We will offer decent working conditions to support our employees in their roles as parents.
