On Friday, 13 March, Aibel Haugesund held a large festive occasion to celebrate employee anniversaries. A total of 82 employees were celebrated for their long and faithful service: there were 64 of them who were able to mark a 25 or 30 year anniversary with the company, whereas 17 of them were marking a 40 year anniversary at Aibel and there was even one man who was marking 50 years of experience working for Aibel.

In total, these people represented a sum of 2,400 years of experience at Aibel. Group President and CEO Jan Skogseth has no doubts as to what they mean to the company:

"I am impressed at the contributions you have made. That so many people have remained with the company for so long leads me to believe that we have built up a good and thriving working environment that makes a working day at Aibel quite pleasant. When people thrive on the job, results are also produced," he said in a speech to the loyal employees.
