Ingelise Arntsen new director

Arntsen took up her position with Aibel today. She is the new Chief of staff.

“I'm looking forward to getting to know the skilled and dedicated employees in Aibel. In addition, the oil service industry is going through a very interesting time,” Arntsen says.

She will have responsibility for 250 associates in Aibel, covering the corporate functions of Legal, Communications, HR; HMS, QAM, Corporate Procurement and IKT.

Arntsen (47) was educated at Handelshøyskole Syd in Denmark. She is a Danish citizen, but has lived and worked in Norway for many years. She comes from the position as CEO of Sway Turbine AS.

“I have considerable experience from other large corporations and am used to working in highly competitive sectors. Also, I have a lot of international experience, including from South East Asia which is a strategically important area to Aibel,” the director says.

Arntsen has a long track record from the energy sector, including positions as Excecutive Vice President in REC and Statkraft, and as CEO of Sogn og Fjordane Energiverk.

Before entering the energy sector she spent seven years in shipbuilding with Kværner Fjellstand, both in Norway and Singapore. She is currently member of the board of Norske Skog and has also been on the board of Petoro.
