This year’s Christmas gift to Norwegian Red Cross

On Friday Aibel presented a check for NOK 250,000 to the Norwegian Red Cross. The money will help typhoon victims in the Philippines.

On 8 November, one of the worst typhoons in history swept across the Philippines. The devastation is enormous. More than 5,000 people lost their lives.

“We have more than 50 employees from the Philippines working in Aibel. Several of them are directly affected by the disaster. That is why we have decided to give this year’s Christmas gift to the Norwegian Red Cross and the Philippines,” says SVP Communications Bjørg Sandal.

She handed over the check to Ola Skuterud, who represented the Red Cross, at the headquarters in Stavanger today.
