Aibel acquires company

The contract to acquire Danish personnel company LMP was signed at Forus today. The company already works for Aibel AS.

“The company's approx. 65 employees are involved in rig and ISO operations and complement Aibel Denmark's competency profile,” says chairman of Aibel Denmark, Vibeke Vikse Johnsen, who signed the contract on behalf of the company.

LMP has most of its associates employed under a contract with Danish shipping company Mærsk, which is thus its largest client. The remainder are employed on various projects, including some for Aibel Norway.

The acquisition contract was signed today, and LMP will merge with Aibel Denmark in the course of the year.


Aibel is a leading service company within the oil and gas industry and is established in renewable energy.

The company`s around 5,000 employees in Norway and abroad are engaged onshore and offshore. With eight locations in Norway, the company is located near the customers. In addition to operations in Norway, Aibel is also located in Thailand, Singapore and Denmark.
