    Aibel undertakes quality work at its own facilities

  • Aibel has been awarded the assignment to ready the Heidrun platform to receive the production from the Dvalin field (Zidane).

  • Aibel is delivering the drilling platform for the Johan Sverdrup field. The assignment comprises engineering, procurement and construction.

  • Aibel is currently a key partner in Statoil's high-profile Hywind pilot project off the coast of Scotland.

  • In the spring of 2016, giant FPSO Glen Lyon docked at Aibel Haugesund. Aibel’s assignment was to assist BP in readying the vessel for production.

  • Aibel's first wind converter platform is named Dolwin Beta. The platform was a collaboration project between Aibel and ABB.

  • Aibel won the billion kroner contract to expand the gas compression capacity on Troll in the autumn 2011. The contract included three new modules to extend the life of the Troll field.

  • In November 2013 Aibel was awarded the contract for hook-up of the Ivar Aasen platform. This is Aibel's first assignment for Aker BP (previously Det norske).

  • Aibel has built the deck for the Gudrun platform. The platform was towed out to the North Sea in summer 2013.

  • Aibel is Equinor's largest supplier of maintenance and modification services on the Norwegian continental shelf.

  • During the period of 2002 - 2016, Aibel had long-term maintenance and modifications agreements with ConocoPhillips for services in the Greater Ekofisk Area.

  • Aibel has delivered five modules to the FPSO P-74. The ship will operate in Brazilian waters.

  • Aibel has built a new Kårstø testing facility for Statoil which is designed to test subsea compressors.

  • Aibel has a framework agreement with A/S Norske Shell for modifications to the Draugen platform.

  • In cooperation with BW Offshore, Aibel delivered system support, area engineering and planning of a total of 10 modules for the Catcher FPSO.

  • Aibel has delivered a total of seven modules for MODEC in the Tweneboa, Enyenra and Ntomme project (TEN). The modules were fabricated for a FPSO.

  • Aibel conducts preparatory work related to water injection from the Heidrun platform to the Maria field.

  • Aibel was responsible for the hook-up of new living quarters to the Oseberg C platform.
