Deputy Tender manager

As part of our growth plan Aibel is looking for Deputy Tender/Capture manager to help us meet our strategic and growth ambitions and secure a diverse portfolio of business in both conventional and emerging markets.

As Deputy Tender/Capture manager, you should have the ability to support implementation of commercial and technical strategies to help secure new work for Aibel. You must be able to collaborate with technical specialists, support functions and stakeholders in Aibel as well as external partners with a common goal of building strong teams. In the preparation of high-quality bids compliant with Client requirements, you will work with multiple functions from across the organization, and work collaboratively with Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Supply Chain, Legal, and Business Development to develop competitive tenders, aligned with the technical and commercial requirements of the Client.
Crucial to this role is the ability to work independently with a high degree of structure, and at the same time understand how to motivate others to contribute with their part in due time. In this role, you will develop your interpersonal skills as well as expand your knowledge and experience through a variety of tasks.
As Deputy Tender/Capture manager you will plan, and coordinate tender activities to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within allocated time frame and budget. Depending on individual preferences you will participate in the overall tendering efforts across Aibel’s business units, or specialize within specific areas.
- Technical or commercial education with Bachelor or Master degree
- Relevant experience from projects or from a project related business
- Analytical and commercial mindset
- Commercial/contractual experience
- IT fluent
- Fluent in English language (oral and written)
