We are now looking for an innovative and motivated E3D Draw Administrator to strengthen our Engineering IT Tools department in Asker. You will be a vital contributor and key support to our engineering disciplines, ensuring excellence in E3D Draw. Your expertise will help drive our projects forward, completed on time, making you an indispensable part of our team.

About the position
As an E3D Draw Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of our engineering projects, providing crucial support across multiple disciplines. Your role will be dynamic and varied, encompassing everything from setting up drawings for new projects to ensuring that every detail is perfect. You’ll be the go-to expert for maintaining the accuracy of our symbol library and making sure that all necessary information is clearly reflected in the drawings. This position is perfect for someone who thrives on precision and enjoys the challenge of keeping everything running smoothly in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Responsibilities and tasks include

  • Support Multi-Discipline Engineering in E3D: Provide support for Safety, HVAC, Piping & Layout disciplines by managing and optimizing E3D drawing processes.
  • Drawing Setup & Standardization: Ensure that all engineering drawings are set up with the correct formats, including drawing frames, symbol libraries, and accurate tag references for seamless cross-disciplinary consistency.
  • Toolbox Development & Maintenance: Drive continuous improvement by maintaining and enhancing the E3D drawing toolbox to improve efficiency and accuracy across projects.
  • Piping & Layout Drawing Production: Collaborate closely with the Piping & Layout teams to assist in generating precise and detailed drawings, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 0-3 years of experience in 2D CAD support/admin within layout or relevant discipline is an advantage.
  • Experience from E3D Draw.

  • Self-driven with a structured, systematic approach to work.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • An innovative mindset and a passion for building networks and sharing knowledge.
  • Fluent in both Norwegian and English, with excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Interest in coding is an advantage.
