Aibel is a leading service company within the upstream oil & gas and offshore wind industries. We provide our clients with optimal and innovative solutions within engineering, construction, modifications and maintenance throughout the entire life cycle.

Aibel's skilled employees are located close to our customers at the company's eight offices in Norway and South East Asia. In addition, we operate two modern yards in Haugesund (Norway) and Laem Chabang (Thailand) with complete prefabrication and construction capabilities.

In Aibel you will have the possibility to participate in the growing and exciting market for offshore wind. Aibel deliver EPCI projects for HVDC platforms and AC substations, in addition to fixed and floating wind turbine substructures.

Aibel has in the last 6 months won major contracts within offshore wind such as DolWin5 on German sector and Dogger Bank on UK sector. Due to the high workload within renewable energy / offshore wind, Aibel sees the need to further strengthen and increase manpower in the offshore wind department. Aibel Offshore Wind engineering department is located in Haugesund and consists of appr. 45 engineers with a high level of technical competence. As an engineer in Aibel you will work in a multidiscipline environment. Here you will achieve a good technical development and comprehensive understanding for engineering by participating in studies, bids and FEED and/or detail engineering projects. You will work closely with colleagues from your own and other technical disciplines and follow up vendors to deliver good solutions to our Clients.

The right candidate will have a steep learning curve and gradually develop a wide understanding of our enterprise.   • Bachelor or Master degree


  • Communicate well in Norwegian and English – both oral and in writing
  • Ability to work independently and thorough as well as ability to work in team
  • Good multidiscipline understanding
  • Have a high loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements
  • Be highly proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with other
