Aibel is looking for Graduates to all our Commercial Disciplines, which means we will be recruiting diverse competence. However, we believe the following describes our commercial graduates:

  • You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree awarded in 2021 or 2022 within economics, business administration, IT, engineering, project management, procurement or other relevant topics

Aibel’s Commercial Disciplines includes:

The planners are responsible for establishing robust plans to optimize and ensure project execution and delivery. They report, analyze, trend and forecast within contractual obligations throughout the project life cycle. In order to succeed you must enjoy working in the areas between project control and technology. You handle complexity and various interfaces well. In your role, you will meet challenges connected to scheduling, interface handling between different disciplines as well as contractual aspects and commercial risks.

Contract & Sub-contract
Our contractual resources are responsible for following up the main contracts against client and or subcontracts towards the sub suppliers. They give contractual support and advise for project management and other project functions. Prepare and conduct contract awareness sessions, identify new opportunities within own area for optimum and enhanced utilization of contracts. Creating and maintaining relationships between Aibel, sub-contractors and clients

Weight & Estimation
Our estimators are an important link between the engineering and commercial departments, keeping records of all quantities, calculating weights on what we build per engineering discipline and keeping record of all the revenue for our projects. Estimators also hold key roles during weighing of all modules at site and follow up measurement with client.

Cost Control
Cost Controllers are responsible for monthly reporting of actuals and forecasts for our projects throughout the project life cycle. As a cost controller you will work in the areas between finance and technology, and you must handle and enjoy complexity and various interfaces well. In Cost Control we work as a close team, sharing competence and experience across projects.

Project Execution & Method (PEX)
Our industry is a key player in the green transition and at the same time digitalization leads to new opportunities affecting the way we work. In PEX we are working on understanding the short and long term need for adaptions and improvements in the methods and tools supporting our projects executing better on all levels. This understanding forms the basis for utilizing and implementing new ways of working by digitalization and new tools and/or by changing the way we work.

The training coordinators are responsible for establishing and organizing training programmes in projects. They structure the training by communicating with management, creating training plans, reading lists and course content. In your role you will meet various tasks and you will need good communicational skills, flexibility, and preferably some e-learning experience.
