As a HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will act as a strategic advisor to Engineering and project leadership, aligning people strategies with business objectives in a dynamic Oil & Gas / EPC environment.
In this role, you will be involved in workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, and driving organizational effectiveness and talent development in a multinational setting. You will work closely with Engineering and project leadership while ensuring strong HR governance and operational excellence.
This position reports directly to the Country Human Resources Manager.
About the position
In this role, you will lead the end-to-end recruitment process for engineering and technical positions, developing sourcing strategies for niche roles and ensuring a strong talent pipeline for current and future manpower needs. You will collaborate with Engineering Managers to understand project requirements, manage the full candidate journey, conduct competency-based interviews, and support timely and high-quality hiring decisions. Beyond recruitment, you will partner with line leaders to support manpower planning, provide guidance on people-related matters, and offer insights grounded in HR data and metrics to improve organizational performance. The role also includes ensuring compliance with local labor laws and internal policies, addressing employee relations matters with professionalism, and contributing to continuous improvement across HR processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience with solid exposure to HR Business Partner responsibilities
- Solid background in Engineering, Oil & Gas, or EPC project-based environment
- Understanding of project lifecycles and business dynamics
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Thai nationality with fluent English (able to work confidently with international management)
- Ability to work onsite in Rayong
- Willingness to relocate or support assignments in various locations depending on project needs
