Offshore Structural Engineer

As a As a Structural Engineer, you will be accountable for performing structural analysis and sketching 3D structures, including preparing design calculations and reports. In this role, you will be involved in reviewing structural drawings (IFC) and ensuring that all discipline work meets quality standards and project strategies.

About the position

The Structural Engineer is responsible for delivering high-quality technical outputs, including design reports and the coordination of discipline documents within multidisciplinary teams. You will contribute to the project by identifying interface requirements and ensuring all work complies with statutory regulations and internal HSE standards. This role involves close collaboration with other disciplines through DIC/IDC activities to ensure progress targets and productivity levels are met within the planned budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in structural design for offshore/onshore oil and gas or heavy industry projects.
  • Fundamental understanding of structural mechanics and behavior, preferably regarding offshore structures.
  • Competence in SACS, STAAD Pro, Mathcad, and PDMS; knowledge of SACS is a specific advantage.
  • Basic proficiency in English (written and spoken) to support project documentation and team communication.

You possess good interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment to solve routine engineering problems.
