We are looking for a Principal Engineer in OT Cybersecurity to strengthen our department in Asker

About the position

We are looking for a skilled and motivated professional to strengthen our OT cybersecurity capability. In this role, you will work with risk and vulnerability assessments in automation and control system environments, helping shape project strategies, methods and cybersecurity philosophies. You will collaborate closely across disciplines, supporting both project execution and the development of best practices within OT security. You will work in all project phases and in both Offshore wind and O&G projects.

Responsibilities

Your work will include initial and detailed risk assessments, establishing project‑specific cybersecurity strategies and defining methods aligned with standards, company requirements and legislation. You will assess threats, vulnerabilities and network design considerations, and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement in the cybersecurity discipline.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree.
  • 12+ years’ experience with industrial automation control systems on the NCS.
  • 8+ years’ experience with IEC 62443‑based risk assessment methodology.
  • Experience with cybersecurity philosophies, strategies and the MITRE attack framework for OT.
  • Solid knowledge of NORSOK and IEC standards.
  • Strong English communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in multicultural teams.
  • Proactive and structured, with a drive for improvement and knowledge sharing.
