Principal Engineer - Mechanical

We are looking for Principal Mechanical Engineer particulary within rotating equipment to strengthen our Mechanical department in Stavanger. As a Principal Engineer you will play a central role in delivering high-quality solutions for our projects.
About the position
In this role, you will take full ownership of complex procurement packages and work closely with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers to ensure robust and timely deliveries. If you are passionate about rotating equipment and enjoy combining technical depth with cross-functional collaboration, this is an opportunity where your expertise will truly make an impact.
Responsibilities and tasks include
- Create package follow up together with package buyer and other relevant disciplines
- Take responsibility for follow-up work for the procurement package
- Follow up and make sure Final Documentation for the scope of work is delivered at agreed date
- Prepare and perform bid clarification meeting (BCM) and kick off meeting
- Responsible for ensuring that the work is performed according to relevant instructions / procedures and in accordance with the contract
Qualifications
- Engineer with bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Long experience, 10+ years, within offshore related projects
- High knowledge of rotating equipment, pumps and compressors, chemical injection skids, other multidiscipline packaged deliveries
- High knowledge of standards
- Good knowledge of Static equipment
