Principal Package Responsible Engineer – Mechanical (Offshore Wind)

About the Position
You will serve as Mechanical PRE for equipment packages, ensuring integrated and compliant mechanical deliveries throughout engineering, execution, testing and handover.
Responsibilities and Tasks
You will define technical requirements, prepare specifications and datasheets, evaluate supplier documentation in close cooperation with procurement, follow up deviations and technical queries, participate in design reviews, attend FATs and inspections, and support installation, commissioning and handover activities.
Qualifications
- Master's or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Extensive experience as Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical PRE
- Strong competence in mechanical equipment design and package follow‑up
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes and standards
- Experience from multidisciplinary engineering environments
Personal Qualities
You are analytical, independent and detail‑oriented. You collaborate well, communicate clearly, and uphold high quality and deadlines. English fluency is required; Norwegian is an advantage.
