Project Control Manager/Commercial Manager

We are now looking for a Commercial Manager who can contribute to Aibel’s exciting journey in the ongoing energy transition.

The Commercial Manager will play a key role in the project management group and will be a vital contributor in delivering according to our project ambitions. As a Commercial Manager you will be a driving force of utilizing the contracts potential and proactively search for commercial opportunities. Additionally you will drive and manage the Change Management process. Furthermore, you will be heading up the project control project organization and be responsible for the financial analysis and reporting.
The role demands a proactive and result oriented leader managing the the overall financial project portfolio and provides management with commercial advice. You have the ability to see criticalities and will ensure good risk management in the project. Furthermore you will ensure commercial awareness and contractual understanding in the whole project organization.
The Commercial Manager knows how to collaborate constructively within the organization, inspire people and building good working relations. You have the ability to communicate at all levels. Furthermore you have the ability to establish and develop good client and supplier relationship.
- Master of Business Administration, Master of Finance, Master of Science or equivalent (master level). Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal qualifications
- Commercial Manager/Project Control Manager from the oil and gas industry or other relevant/similar experience
- Proactive and result oriented
- Strong negotiation and contractual skills
- Has a good understanding of the business
- Professional confidence
- High personal integrity and high ethical standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Solution oriented and strong decision maker, with excellent cooperative abilities
