Senior Business Development Manager

In addition, we operate two modern yards in Haugesund and in Thailand, with complete prefabrication and construction capabilities.

Job responsibilities:

  • Position the Company’s offering to add new Clients and maintain existing ones.
  • Participate in generating list for targeted pursuits.
  • Initiate and maintain Client engagement for targeted pursuits.
  • Ensure the company is invited to and passes the pre-qualification process of prospective pursuits based on agreed target list of prospects.
  • Provide and maintain regional prospects in the Company CRM database.
  • Review and evaluate new inquiries and draft the Bid-No-Bid document so Management can formally decide to participate in the tender exercise received.
  • May also take on the role as Tender Manager pending tender loading, etc.
  • Recommend marketing events, conventions and conferences for the Company to participate in.
  • Ensure that the Company’s Compliance requirements are adhered to.
  • Provide team with a clear sense of direction, inspire and co-ordinate people.
  • Use a systematic approach; plan, define clear priorities and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Develop people through delegation, empowerment and coaching.
  • Ensure work is carried out in accordance to QHSE requirements
  • Recommend and implement improvement in work processes and procedures within area of responsibilities.
  • Perform any other responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

Work experience requirements:

  • Must have minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in technical and/or commercial setting within the FPSO/ EPC sector.
  • Minimum 5 years in a similar managerial capacity.


  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree

Other skills:

  • Must be familiar with Project Management concepts and EPC offering of the Company.
  • Must be familiar with the Company’s client base and service offering.
  • Must have effective presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Must have effective leadership, communication, and people skills.
  • Must be computer literate in MS Office applications.
  • A strategic thinker and self-motivated
  • Has a strong business and commercial sense.
  • Good networking contacts within the industry.
  • Ability to understand and work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • A genuine interest and appreciation of people.
  • Willingness to travel within the Asia Pacific region is required.
