Senior Document Controller

Engineering in Stavanger is looking to strengthen the team with a new Senior Document Controller. You will play an important part in managing documentation throughout various project phases. To succeed, you must have extensive experience as a Discipline Lead.

About the position
You'll be a supervisor for Document Control personnel and be the Discipline Lead for them. We're looking for someone with minimum 10 years' experience within Document Control, who can ensure that critical project information is well-documented and facilitates successful project execution. You'll work with exciting projects, as Johan Sverdrup and AkerBP MMO, in a fast developing international industri.

Responsibilities and tasks include

  • Advise project personnel of the document management requirements in accordance with internal & external specifications
  • Follow-up of both Supplier & Engineering documentation
  • Document progress reporting

Qualifications

  • BSc og MSc in engineering, in addition to experience as a Discipline Lead
  • Extensive experience within LCI/Document Control can compensate for formal requirements
  • 10-15 years' relevant experience with Onshore/Offshore Oil & Gas or related industry
  • Competence in document management systems ProArc, STID and Pims DC
  • Good command of both Norwegian and English
  • It's advantageous to be familiar with EqHub
