Senior Engineer - Structural Design

We are looking for Senior Engineer - Structural Design to strengthen our department in Stavanger. As a Senior Engineer - Structural Design you will work hands-on with 3D design and contribute to shaping safe and efficient offshore structures.

About the position
In this position, you’ll be part of a close and collaborative team, working across disciplines and following projects from study phase to execution. You’ll get the chance to work with a variety of structural constructions — and help support junior colleagues as they grow. Responsibilities and tasks include

  • Perform 3D structural design and 2D Draft work of:
    • Deck structures, Existing steel, Walkways, Access platforms, Stairs & ladders
  • Draft
  • Interaction with other disciplines
  • Contribute to training of junior personnel

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree, or equivalent experience in structural engineering
  • Broad experience in use of E3D software and Tekla
  • Have good understanding design of secondary outfitting structures
  • Previous participation in FEED studies and EPCIC projects
  • Experience from Brownfield projects
  • Good understanding of the totality for an structural construction
  • Good knowledge of relevant standards, such as Norsok
