Senior Engineer - Structural Design

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play an important role in strengthening the Structural Design Department and supporting the delivery of high-quality work across studies, tenders, and EPCI projects, including HVDC and HVAC platforms. This position offers the opportunity to contribute technical expertise within a dynamic environment where experienced competence is essential to meeting project demands.

About the position
In this role, you will act as a key resource within the structural discipline and take responsibility for 3D modelling and drawing production of structural items. You will perform both self-checks and checks of work produced by others, ensuring accuracy and identifying clashes or inconsistencies. The position requires close collaboration with multiple disciplines and adherence to established engineering standards and processes to secure robust and well-coordinated design solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or minimum Technical College
  • Broad experience in use of E3D software and Tekla
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience

You communicate effectively and contribute positively within diverse, multicultural teams while also working independently when needed. You bring solid technical understanding, operate systematically and accurately, and maintain a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and quality requirements. You actively seek advice, share your own experience, and demonstrate a proactive approach to improvement. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential, and proficiency in Norwegian is an advantage.
