Senior Engineer, Technical Safety

We are now looking for a
Senior Engineer, Technical Safety who can contribute to Aibel’s exciting journey in the ongoing energy transition. You will have the possibility to participate in the growing and exciting market for offshore wind as well as the oil & gas market. We will use and develop your skills and talent.

Your responsibilities:

You will as a Technical Safety Engineer in Aibel get the opportunity to work in multidiscipline teams in studies, tenders, FEED and Detail Engineering preferably in a role as Technical Safety Lead, HSE Design Coordinator or as a Senior Engineer within these areas:

  • Area classification, escape and evacuation
  • Passive Fire Protection (PFP)
  • Active Fire Protection
  • F&G/ESD

As an HSE Design Coordinator in Aibel you will have the responsibility for follow up and verify the following analyses performed by a 3rd party, typical e.g. Risk analyses.

Qualifications:

  • MSc or BSc with required experience
  • 5-10 years relevant working experience in Oil & Gas Onshore/Offshore projects
  • Experience within renewable Sector is desirable
  • Work experience from Norwegian Sector
  • Lead experience

  • Ability to work independently and thorough as well as ability to work in team
  • Multidiscipline understanding
  • Good communication skills
  • Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
  • Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
  • Capability of untraditional conceptual thinking and challenging established truth
  • Communicate well in Norwegian and English – both oral and in writing
