We are looking for Senior Engineers to strengthen our HVAC department in Stavanger. As a Senior Engineer you will be responsible for coordinate and follow up of the HVAC system design and the area design in an exiting growing portfolio.
About the position
In this position, you will be responsible for the discipline’s deliveries in the projects and work closely with other disciplines to achieve the project’s goals.
Responsibilities and tasks include
- System design philosophy/design basis for HVAC systems with respect to functional requirements,
control philosophy and operational philosophy - Package Responsible Engineer
- Coordinate and follow up of the HVAC system design and the area design
- Ductwork design
- Calculations of air flow rate based on ventilation requirement and heat emissions
- Cooling calculations
- Selection of HVAC equipment with regards to capacity and feasibility
- Technical Inquiries for HVAC equipment and Bulk
- Ensure coordination of the HVAC design with other disciplines
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in HVAC System design or HVAC PRE in Oil & Gas industry, preferred from Norwegian Continental Shelf
- PDMS/E3D experience
- Offshore survey experience can be an advantage
