Senior / Principal Engineer Process

We are now looking for a experienced Senior / Principal Engineer Process who can contribute to Aibel’s exciting journey in the ongoing energy transition.

Your responsibilities:

  • Discipline lead and/or discipline engineer for complex process systems
  • Tender work, studies and detail engineering
  • Main process systems (hydrocarbons) and flare
  • Utility systems
  • Process and flare simulations
  • Production of P&IDs and PFDs
  • Production of process datasheets
  • Process calculations
  • Reports and system descriptions
  • HAZOPs and reviews


  • Bachelor or master degree within process, chemical mechanical or similar
  • Relevant experience in the oil & gas business
  • Familiar with relevant international standards within process design (API, ISO, etc.)
  • Familiar with NORSOK P-002
  • Familiar with process simulation tools like HYSYS, UniSim, Flare System Analyser, Pipenet or similar
