Senior Structural Designer (Checker)

As a Structural Designer, you will generate and develop high-quality 3D structural models and drawings based on engineering inputs. In this role, you will be involved in preparing technical documentation such as Material Take-Offs (MTO) and weld length calculations while ensuring all deliverables meet project schedules
About the position
In this role, you will contribute to the successful execution of onshore and offshore oil and gas projects by producing precise 3D models and structural drawings within assigned timeframes. You will collaborate closely with engineers and supervisors to translate sketches into technical reality while maintaining strict adherence to quality standards. The work involves proactive communication across disciplines to ensure smooth task completion and the timely sharing of information for quality control activities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–4 years of experience in structural design specifically for the onshore/offshore oil and gas or related industries.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Knowledge of international structural codes and standards, such as DNV and NORSOK.
- Proficiency in design and document tools including E3D, Tekla, MicroStation, PDMS, ProArc, and Microsoft Office.
