Structural CAD Administrator

We are now looking for Structural Engineers who can contribute to Aibel’s exciting journey in the ongoing energy transition. You will work as a Structural CAD Administrator and support project execution from structural design to fabrication. Aibel is a multi-discipline environment, working with clients in both renewable energy sector, and oil and gas. Systematic management and implementation of different requirements is a key factor for successful project execution.

As Structural CAD Administrator your tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Setting up and managing profile and component catalogs in E3D
  • Implement new, and modify existing, rule-based components
  • Establish and maintain templates and settings for E3D and/or Tekla drawings
  • Support the execution process for structural design and drawing production
  • Recommend and carry out future improvements
  • User support for CAD users

We believe you have the following work experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years experiences within Structural design in E3D
  • Experience working with catalogues in E3D Paragon
  • Experience with Tekla Structures is beneficial

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has dedicated interest in CAD administration enabling designers to be efficient
  • Holds a bachelor's or master's degree, preferrably Civil or Mechanical
  • Is engaged and thorough, and has the ability to work independently as well as in teams
  • Has a multidiscipline understanding
  • Communicates well in English - both orally and in writing. A general knowledge in Norwegian is beneficial
  • Has a high loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements
  • Has a cooperative working attitude, who seeks advice and share own experiences with others
