Technical Working Environment Engineer

We are now looking for a Technical Working Environment Engineer who can contribute to Aibel’s exciting journey in the ongoing energy transition. You will get opportunities to work within our oil and gas segment, where low carbon and zero emissions solutions will be in focus in the future, as well as our renewable energy sector including offshore wind and hydrogen. Aibel is also performing early phase work and exploration into the fields of synthetic fuels and carbon capture.

Your responsibilities:

You will as a Technical Working Environment Engineer in Aibel Field Development & Offshore Wind be part of the Technical Safety team and get the opportunity to work in multidiscipline teams in studies, tenders, FEED and Detail Engineering. You will work and develop within the following areas:

  • Working environment program/strategies
  • Working environment analyses/ assessments according to NORSOK S-002
  • Working Environment Area Charts
  • Working environment impact assessment (WEIA)
  • Work hazards/ Ergonomic evaluations in design
  • Chemical health risk assessment
  • 3D design reviews
  • Constructability evaluations
  • Working environments reviews at site
  • Vendor package follow up

Qualifications:

  • Master of Sience
  • 2 years working experience in Oil & Gas Onshore/Offshore projects within technical working environment is preferable
  • Graduate Engineer with the right background will also be considered

  • Ability to work independently and thoroughly as well as ability to work in team
  • Multidiscipline understanding
  • Good communication skills
  • Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
  • Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
  • Communicate well in English – both oral and in writing
