Aibel has always been characterized by the ability to adapt and turn new possibilities into business. Ever since the company’s first activities in Thailand in 1999, Aibel has continuously expanded and developed its facilities and services for the international energy markets. 

As part of the company’s strategy to further expand and develop its engineering capabilities in Thailand, Aibel has decided to establish an office in the Chatuchak area of Bangkok. Located in the heart of the country’s biggest source of talent, Aibel will strengthen its access to highly-skilled professionals – the most important asset for the company and its ambitions.

The Bangkok branch will add to Aibel’s existing presence in Thailand; the Map Ta Phut area (two engineering offices and new yard facilities) and Laem Chabang (construction and assembly yard). 

Aibel Thailand plays a key part in the group’s development as a leading full-scale EPCI provider and a front-runner in the energy transition. Over the years, Aibel Thailand has completed numerous high-quality modules and topsides for oil & gas as well as offshore wind installations all over the world, including Norway, the UK and Brazil.
