Construction and assembly of modules and platforms to customers worldwide
Aibel’s presence in Thailand dates to 1999. Today, the company’s Thai locations include a construction and assembly yard located in Laem Chabang, around an hour and a half drive from Bangkok. For many years, the yard in Laem Chabang was Aibel’s main construction site in Thailand, and the location is ideal because it is the largest and deepest harbour in Thailand.
At the yard, Aibel Thailand has completed numerous high-quality modules and topsides for oil & gas as well as offshore wind installations all over the world, including Norway, the UK and Brazil.
Aibel also has a major shareholding in the fabrication shop Deeline, located a short distance from the yard in Laem Chabang. The fabrication shop specializes in steel structure and piping fabrication. Deeline has been working together with Aibel for more than 15 years.
