Engineering and construction hub for the international energy markets
Ever since Aibel’s first activities in Thailand in 1999, the company has continuously expanded and developed its facilities and services. In 2023, Aibel Thailand expanded its construction capacity significantly with new state-of-art yard facilities in Map Ta Phut, rigged for further deliveries to the international energy markets.
In the same region, near the Map Ta Phut yard, Aibel has two engineering offices (GC Estate and Ban Chang). Here, Aibel’s highly capable engineering organisation plays a key part in the company’s development as a leading full-scale EPCI provider and a front-runner in the energy transition.
With its broad capabilities, Aibel Thailand offers services such as engineering, construction management, planning, procurement, prefabrication, assembly, completion and integration/start up assistance.
In addition, Aibel has a major shareholding in the fabrication shop Deeline, located in close proximity to both the Map Ta Phut yard and the engineering offices. Deeline specializes in steel structure and piping fabrication and has been working together with Aibel for more than 15 years.
