At Aibel, we are dedicated to driving the energy transition forward, and our business development and concepts & studies teams are at the forefront of this mission. With a pioneering spirit, we are continuously exploring new opportunities in the energy and ocean industries where our EPC expertise can make a significant impact.

Our focus is on emerging sectors like hydrogen, carbon capture and storage, power-to-X, and offshore aquaculture. We believe in collaboration, partnering with key customers and technology providers to develop groundbreaking projects and innovative solutions for the future.

We started our journey as an EPC contractor for hydrogen projects in 2020, and together with the technology company Nel, we successfully completed a 20MW green hydrogen plant for Iberdrola in Spain in 2022.

Building on this momentum, in 2024, we entered into a strategic framework agreement with Utror to advance the development of offshore fish farming.
