Prior to this contract, Aibel has completed the FEED (Front End Engineering Design) for the project. In the actual implementation phase, Aibel is responsible for engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI).

In the FEED phase, Aibel carried out study work related to new equipment and pipes for the water injection system. Additionally, Aibel has worked on solutions for integration, hook-up and installation of this on the Gudrun platform, and it is this concept Aibel is implementing now.

Project management and engineering is based at the head office in Stavanger, while construction will take place at the yard in Haugesund. At peak, the project will involve around 160 people onshore and at the installation offshore.
