Troll C Gas Module
A new gas module expanded the capacity of the Troll C platform in order to handle increased production from the Fram field.
Prepared for increased production
In summer 2017, Aibel was awarded the contract for engineering, procurement, construction and installation of the gas module after successfully completing the FEED study for the project.
The contract also included work to prepare and reconstruct the area for the module on the platform.
The project was managed from the office in Bergen, who also carried out engineering and procurement. Construction of the gas module took place at the yard in Haugesund.
The module was successfully installed on the platform in summer 2019.
