Supporting operations at Goliat and Gjøa
Aibel was awarded a framework agreement by Vår Energi for maintenance and modification (M&M) services related to the Goliat and Gjøa fields.
The agreement includes engineering support, project management and technical deliveries to support safe and efficient operation of the installations. Aibel works closely with Vår Energi teams to plan and execute maintenance activities and platform modifications.
The contract strengthens Aibel’s position within maintenance and modifications on the Norwegian continental shelf and builds on the company’s extensive experience supporting offshore installations.
Resources from Aibel’s Hammerfest office support activities related to the Goliat field in the Barents Sea, while work connected to the Gjøa field in the North Sea is mainly handled from the Stavanger office.
