Mads Andersen has more than 30 years’ experience from the international oil and gas industry, both within drilling- and well operations, reservoir evaluation, major projects and subsea technologies.
Andersen started his career as international Field Engineer in Schlumberger before joining Saga Petroleum. He has held executive positions in Aker Solutions, Cameron and OneSubsea, a subsidiary of Schlumberger, before joining Aibel in November 2016.
Andersen holds a degree in engineering from the University of Glasgow and an associate degree from the Norwegian School of Management BI.
Nils Arne Sølvik came to Aibel in January of 2018 from a position as Segment Vice President at OneSubsea.
Sølvik joined Aibel in the position of EVP Business Development & Supply Chain Management. On 1 August 2019 he took over as EVP Modifications and Yard Services.
Previously, he has worked for ABB and Framo Engineering. He has more than 20 years’ experience from the oil & gas industry, where he has held management positions within technology development, project execution, sales and business development, operations/supply chain/manufacturing and after-market.
Sølvik holds a MSc in Electric Power Engineering from the Norwegian Institute of Technology (NTH).
Kaare Espolin Fladmark has been Chief Financial Officer since September 2014. He has been with Aibel for twelve years, and has previously held positions as Accounting and Tax Manager in addition to Finance Manager.
Fladmark is educated within economics and accounting at the University of Stavanger. Before joining Aibel, he has held finance management positions with the CMP group, ABB Offshore Systems (which is now a part of Aibel) and Schlumberger.
Ann Sæland joined Aibel 2 February 2018. Previously, she has worked in the oil and gas industry for 29 years for Schlumberger.
She has held various HR positions in the company over the last 20 years, most recent as HR Manager for Schlumberger in Scandinavia. Prior roles include Division HR Services Director, Compensation and Benefits Manager for Schlumberger Europe and Engineering and Manufacturing HR Manager.
Sæland is a British citizen and Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for the International School of Stavanger.
Borghild Lunde joined Aibel on 1 August 2019, when she came from ABB and the position as Senior Vice President Oil, Gas and Chemicals in Europe.
She has 30 years’ experience from ABB, where she has held several leadership positions within strategy, sales, projects and R&D. She has considerable experience from project deliveries to international oil companies within offshore and subsea field development and operations.
Borghild is a chartered engineer from Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Liv-Runi joined Aibel in January 2022 from the position as SVP Alliances & Partners and Hydrogen in Aker Solutions.
She has 30 years of experience, mainly from Aker Solutions, where she has held several leadership positions within business development, key account management, product line management and project portfolio management in Norwegian and international markets. She has over the years built strong executive relations with operators and suppliers on the NCS.
Liv-Runi holds an engineering degree in Technical cybernetics from the University of Strathclyde.
Business economist. Holds a number of board memberships, including being a former board member in Equinor. Helge is former CEO of i.e. Fjord Seafood ASA and Det Norske Veritas AS.
Has been CFO of Ørsted's business units within both E&P and offshore wind, and is also a member of the boards of PostNord AS and Evida AS, among others.
Elected employees' representative for the EL & IT association in 1998. Karsten has been an employees' representative in Aibel since 2003 and an electrician for the company since 1987.
Union representative with Fellesforbundet since 1998. Rune has been an employees’ representative in Aibel since 2019 and a sheet-metal worker in the company since 1991.
