This privacy policy applies to personal data about customers and partners that Aibel AS (hereinafter Aibel) processes as a data controller, and provides information to which you are entitled when Aibel collects your personal data. Aibel processes personal data that is collected through the use of (hereinafter the Website), and personal data which you provide to Aibel. This includes information in the following categories:

ii) Information collected through the use of the Website, i.e. information collected by means of data tracking, such as cookies (described in more detail in Section 7) and through the use of analytical tools such as Google Analytics. Aibel may also store your IP address for system administration purposes (for example, in order to calculate how many users have visited the website). Aibel processes your personal data in order to fulfil an agreement with you or the company you represent, to improve the services and assistance we provide, to respond to your queries and requests, and for other purposes which are described in this privacy policy, or are permitted or imposed on us by law, rules, regulations or other legal processes, or of which we explicitly inform you.

Aibel's processing of your personal data requires your consent or other legal bases. Other legal bases for the processing of your personal data may be that processing is necessary to fulfil an agreement with you, to comply with Aibel's legal obligations or to pursue Aibel's legitimate interests.

Aibel will implement measures in accordance with applicable legislation to protect the personal data processed by external service providers through so-called data processor agreements.

Aibel has formulated an Integrity Due Diligence (IDD) process. The IDD process encompasses the collection of information that will help us to determine potential partners, the values they have and how they conduct their business. In some cases, IDD may also include the processing of personal data.

Aibel will established separate agreements for transferring personal data between the companies within the Aibel Group both within and outside the EU/EEA. These agreements apply to all personal data protected by EU regulations on the processing of personal data.
