CAD in Oslo is looking to strengthen the team with a new Application Consultant. You will play an important part in the management and development of our CAD applications, with focus on Microstation & Business projects. You will have the opportunity to prove yourself as a leader and play your part in shaping Aibel's future.

About the position
Aibel is in constant development and needs to find a new consultant within IT who's knowledgeable of the setup and use of Microstation. It's an advantage if you're interested in programming and have some experience within Bentley Systems. You will work independently and as a part of team who is open and approachable. You are self-driven and motivated to improve and modernise area of your work. In your role you will establish a large network across locations and business units. You will be responsible for projects across Aibel locations where you will demonstrate your work management and leadership skills in your scope of work.

Responsibilities and tasks include

  • Application management and operation of Microstation
  • Setup/monitoring of new and ongoing projects in Microstation
  • Setup/monitoring of integration/data flow to other IT systems
  • Further development and error correction of Aibel’s self-developed additional modules for Microstation
  • Training and documentation of Microstation & its applications
  • User support for disciplines and business projects
  • Technical contact with vendor of Microstation

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of higher education
  • Good knowledge of setup and using Microstation for 2D drawing production
  • Programming experience (C# and .net is desirable)
  • Knowledge of E3D and 3D visualization tools is desirable, but not a requirement.
  • Experience from the supplier industry for the oil, gas and wind industry is desirable, but not a requirement

Personal qualities

  • Proficient in both Norwegian and English, all written documentation will be in English
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Versatile, systematic and capable of delivery
