Engineering for IT Tools in Oslo is looking to strengthen the team with a new BI Logistics Coordinator. You will ensure the quality and relevance of data across various systems while developing and utilizing SAP Business Intelligence logistic reports. Engineering IT Tools is a newly formed department in engineering. We are working in the interface between engineering and IT, delivering support and developing programs for the engineering departments. Currently, we are a compact team of engineers, strategically positioned for expansion. You will have the unique opportunity to actively participate in shaping their own areas of responsibility within the position.

About the position

As a Logistics Coordinator, you'll collaborate closely with Package Responsible Engineers and Procurement Logistics Responsible to gather necessary information for creating BI reports. This role seeks a candidate with project experience across multiple disciplines, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of data flow in large-scale projects. The position involves sourcing information from various sources and performing quality assurance on the extracted data, leveraging a technical education for effective data comprehension and presentation. Embrace a role in Aibel’s expanding BI Logistics department, where you’ll develop SAP reports, collaborate with engineers, ensure data quality, and contribute to our renewable energy commitment.

Responsibilities and tasks include

  • Utilize and develop SAP BI logistic reports based on project needs
  • Gather information from several engineering systems to make BI reports
  • Quality assurance of the data interface between the different engineering systems
  • Establish reports for missing data

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in any technical engineering field
  • Preferably 3-5 years' experience from engineering in EPC wind or Oil & Gas contracts
  • Multi-discipline experience within project-engineering from the detail engineering phase
  • Broad IT experience especially within Engineering Information System
  • Proficient in both written and spoken Norwegian and English
