Senior Engineers - Electrical

Electrical Engineering in Stavanger are looking to strengthen the team with new Senior Engineers. You will play an important part in Aibel's exciting journey in the ongoing energy transition.

About the position
We are looking for experienced electrical engineers who's seeking exciting challenges in a variety of projects. For our customers, we modify and maintain facilities on land and offshore. We are well established within electrification projects for the energy industry, especially for personnel within high voltage and systems.

Responsibilities and tasks include

  • Electrical system design for Study, FEED or EPC projects
  • System or Team lead for electrical in projects
  • Define, specify and design high voltage electrical systems
  • Develop and assist in design of electrical philosophies, strategies, topologies, single line diagrams, load list, system description, PMS/PDCS systems and electrical systems solutions
  • Perform and follow up calculations, analyses and assessments
  • Interface with other disciplines, contractors, and client
  • Suppliers follow up, interface

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or master's degree in Power Engineering
  • Proven experience within high voltage system design and electrical distribution
  • Experience and thorough knowledge of electrical design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC61850, IEC61892 NEK 400, NEK420
  • Ability to understand and implement requirements stated in new standards
