The spectacular operation was performed by the world’s largest crane vessel, Sleipnir, in Førresfjorden south of Haugesund, Norway. All three lifts of the Main Support Frame (MSF), the Upper Process Module (UPM) and the HVDC module was carried out within approximately 36 hours before the 24,000 ton platform was towed back to Aibel’s yard in Haugesund.

At the yard in Haugesund, the integration and commissioning phase has already started and will last until scheduled delivery of the completed platform early 2022.
